CONNECTIONS
Hyserve offer a comprehensive selection of formed and swaged piping options to meet a diverse range of industrial needs.
Our technicians are well versed in all variations of twin ferrule fittings. With their Small Bore Tubing training, our technicians have a comprehensive understanding and experience of these assemblies, including tube preparation, bending, assembly and installation, in line with the latest specifications.
SBT offers a range of advantages over alternative applications including space efficiency, precision flow control and minimising pressure drops.
Our team can supply and fit twin ferrule from Swagelok, Parker and Fittok, and work with any material including carbon steel, stainless steel and exotic material.
In addition, we also offer Walform Plus (Waltech), which represents a cutting-edge tube forming system designed for creating reliable and leak-free tube connections. This technique utilises a progressive forming process to create a unique, robust seal on the tube end, eliminating the need for welding or specialised tooling beyond the use of a Walform machine. The resultant connection is hight resistant to pressure and vibration - making it highly suitable for demanding applications within the hydraulics industry.
All of our formed and swaged pipework is complaint with industry standards, such as ASME, DNV and DIN. Plus with the ability to pressure test up to 1400 bar, we have the facilities to confirm the strength, integrity and safety of all of our pipework.
CASE STUDY:
In 2024, one of our regular clients, 11 Arches, tasked Hyserve with one of our largest scale rigid piping jobs to date. Over summer, our technicians spent 7 weeks transferring substantial amounts of the hosing in their hydraulic system to rigid pipework...
In total, the team swapped out 1318m of hosing, which was inconveniently positioned for regular routine maintenance work needed for hoses. This was replaces with 1000m of easily-accessible rigid pipework - slashing maintenance times by an estimated 85%. With only 318m of hosing now remaining, routine maintenance is now expected to take days rather than weeks - substantially lowering costs for our client!
